Its primary objective is to coordinate the activities of various Standing Committees and facilitate the smooth functioning of the Panchayat administration.

Coordinating the plans, proposals and activities of various Standing Committees.

Identifying and preparing matters to be discussed and considered by the Panchayat Committee.

Taking necessary interim decisions in emergency situations, as permitted under the applicable rules.

🤝 Conflict Resolution

Facilitating the resolution of issues or differences arising between committees and officials.

🏛 Role in Panchayat Administration

The Steering Committee functions as an important high-level coordinating body within the Grama Panchayat, helping ensure effective coordination among the various Standing Committees and the smooth functioning of the local administration.
