The Government of Kerala and the Government of India implement various social security pension schemes for different sections of society. The primary objective of these schemes is to provide monthly financial assistance to economically disadvantaged individuals.
🌾 Agricultural Workers’ Pension
A social security scheme for agricultural workers.
💰 Monthly Pension: ₹2,000
✅ Must have completed 60 years of age
✅ Annual family income must not exceed ₹1 lakh
✅ Must be a member of the Agricultural Workers’ Welfare Fund

👴 Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension
Financial assistance for economically disadvantaged senior citizens.
💰 Monthly Pension: ₹2,000
✅ Must be 60 years or above
✅ Annual family income must not exceed ₹1 lakh
✅ Must have been a permanent resident of Kerala for more than 3 years
♿ Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension
A social security scheme providing financial assistance to persons with severe disabilities.
💰 Monthly Pension: ₹2,000
✅ No age limit
✅ Medical Certificate is mandatory
✅ Annual family income must not exceed ₹1 lakh
👩 Pension for Unmarried Women Above 50 Years of Age
A pension scheme for economically disadvantaged unmarried women.
💰 Monthly Pension: ₹2,000
✅ Must have completed 50 years of age
✅ Certificate proving unmarried status is required
🕊️ Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension
A social security pension scheme for economically disadvantaged widows.
💰 Monthly Pension: ₹2,000
✅ Husband’s Death Certificate is required
✅ Must provide proof that the beneficiary has not remarried
