📖 Development Standing Committee
The Development Standing Committee is one of the important Standing Committees of the Grama Panchayat, responsible for planning and providing leadership for the comprehensive development activities of the Panchayat.

📋 Preparation of Annual Development Plans
🌾 Coordination of programmes related to agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries and allied sectors
🛣️ Monitoring infrastructure development activities
👷 Reviewing the progress of employment and self-employment programmes

🏗️ Composition
The Development Standing Committee consists of a Chairperson and other members selected from among the elected members of the Grama Panchayat, in accordance with the applicable provisions.
